The Chief Inspector of Mines, in terms of Section 49 (6) read together with Sections 9 (2) and 9 (3) of the Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 (Act No. 29 of 1996), has issued the Guidance Note for the Management of Latent Tuberculosis Infection in the South African Mining Industry, as set out in the schedule.
