The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, has in terms of sections 72 and 73 of the National Environmental Management: Waste Act, 2008 (Act No. 59 of 2008) published the draft Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment National Management Policy (the draft WEEE National Management Policy) for public comment, as set out in the Schedule hereto.
Members of the public are invited to submit written comments on the draft WEEE National Management Policy within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette or newspaper, whichever date is the later date.
