The Chief Inspector in terms of section 27(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, (Act No. 85 of 1993), as amended, by virtue of the power delegated by the Minister of Employment and Labour in terms of section 42(1) of the Act, and after consultation with the Advisory Council for Occupational Health and Safety, has published a National Code of Practice for Training Providers of Lift Machine Operators, 2024 and has incorporated it into the National Code of Practice for Training Providers of Lifting Machine Operators into Driven Machinery Regulations 2015.
The National Code of Practice for Training Providers of Lifting Machine Operators published on the Government Notice R539 of Government Gazette No. 38904 has been withdrawn.
